Ready. Set. Go.

Great fleas have little fleas upon their backs to bite ‘em,
And little fleas have lesser fleas, and so ad infinitum.
— De Morgan, 1872

I have spent much of my adult life looking at plant problems and investigating causes — both biotic and abiotic. Many, many hours have been enjoying peering through the ocular and objective lenses of microscopes to discover the hidden microbial world.

This is my expertise and my passion.

I hope to engage you into this secret world and share the art and science of diagnosis. Let’s begin our journey of discovery of a world within a world with a focus on plant health. These posts will be about my random discoveries and musings — from my plant pathology vantage point.

I’m so glad you are here.

A beautiful garden also offers a menu of microbes and insects and plant health discoveries.
